I came to the field of massage therapy as the culmination of my love for recreation and need for self-care. As a dedicated snowboarder and former club athlete at the University of Colorado, I always found myself studying ways to support my wellbeing. When I began experiencing challenges of my own, I immersed myself in the world of massage and movement therapies. These modalities allowed me to rehabilitate and maintain my health.
In addition to my foundational studies in massage, restorative movement and yoga, I maintain a community of health professionals to continually develop my perspective. Through this community, I personally receive and discuss other therapies to complement my understanding of the human form and the treatment pathways that are available for various conditions. These modalities include chiropractic, physical therapy, structural bodywork (rolfing and Aston-patterning technique), acupuncture, nutrition, pilates, strength training, various styles of yoga, and expressive dance therapy. Through these professional endeavors and personal experiences, I hope to offer you depth of perspective on treatment options and practices for your unique needs.
